Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi is a self-made man who was born in the pre-oil era in Saudi Arabia and received his initial education like the rest of his fellows at that time. He started to work in his early age in banking, commercial, real estate and industrial business until he became a notable businessman at the local and international level. He made his way through working hard and gained a huge wealth over a long history of efforts, devotion, discipline and persistence. Throughout his journey, he was always depending on God first then on endeavoring his best to invest his money in legitimate business channels, thus leaving with his effort, success and growing wealth a clear mark in the wide space of national economy in general and in the charity work in particular

Social and Charity Responsibilities:

Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi has a great concern for charity works and has always endeavored to support and encourage the voluntary work in this field. He adopted a special philosophy to support the charity work by focusing on the size of investment revenue return from each charitable work to designate an endowment for each. These endowments are specialized in different charitable works and are reporting to independent supervisory councils.

• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi for the Poor and Needy Endowment in
      Riyadh. 
• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowment for building Mosques in Riyadh. 
• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowment for Quran Memorization in
      Riyadh.

Establishment of a group of Endowment for AL-Rajhi Family:

• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowment for Rajhi Family’s Youth
      Marriage. 
• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowment for Brothers and Sisters. 
• Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi Endowment for his descendants. 
• Participated with his brothers (Saleh, Abdullah and Suleiman) in establishing Al-Rajhi
      Charity Campaign for performing Hajj. 
    • Participated with his brothers (Saleh, Abdullah and Suleiman) in establishing a
      dedicated endowment for Hajj services.

He built a group of charity complexes encompassing a mosque, a women’s prayer place , dead washing facility, housing for the Imam and Prayer Caller (Mo’azin), and a Quran Memorization School for Ladies. These are namely:
